Charlotte Flair Reflects On Her First WarGames Match

Charlotte Flair‘s first WarGames match meant a great deal to her for a variety of reasons.

SmackDown Superstar Charlotte Flair participated in the WWE Survivor Series Press Conference. When asked what it meant to her to compete in her first-ever WarGames match, Flair spoke about the history her father and Dusty Rhodes had inside this match in the past.

“Well, gosh, how do we beat the match from last year? Like how do we top every year and knowing that last year was so good and the year before; the NXT one,” Charlotte Flair said. “But I think for me, it was just more the history with WarGames with my dad and Dusty [Rhodes] and wanting to be a part of that and continuing the tradition.

“And being with Bianca and Shotzi and having this moment with Becky, like, for me, it was more making amends or — you know, we kind of left in a bad spot and then coming together tonight and how can we move forward with everything; It was awesome.”

When it came to the match itself, Flair knew the one spot she had to hit was doing her moonsault off the top of the cage.

“I had to get my moonsault in,” Charlotte Flair said with a laugh. ” I was like, I have to go off the cage.”
