Jey Uso: Solo Sikoa Could Be The Next Tribal Chief, But He’s Got A Little Growing To Do

Jey Uso reflects on who could be the next Tribal Chief.

During a recent interview with Daily Mail, “Main Event” Jey Uso was asked who he would like to see dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

“I’d like to keep it in the family,” Jey said. “I think Solo could be the next Tribal Chief but he’s got a little growing to do. But who knows? Maybe Sami Zayn could come back into it?”

When asked if he thinks Zayn could still prove to be a formidable challenger for Reigns, Jey had plenty of praise for his former stablemate and rival.

“Of course, Sami is actually one of the top performers, Jey said. “Besides maybe The Miz, Sami is my favorite wrestler. If you pay attention to all of his promos and the way he acts, backstage, he’s top-tier man. I like to think my acting skills are all alright, he’s crisp. He’s it.”

Jey then turned his attention back to his cousin Solo Sikoa, who remains aligned with The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown.

“The best part — I say this all the time — is I’m doing it with my brothers and my family,” Jey said. “I say it to Solo sometimes, when you go out there just embrace what’s going on. I mean, being in Madison Square Garden with everyone throwing the ones up – I appreciate it, man.”

“Solo is a top performer. He’s like a sponge, he gets it. All you got to do is tell him one time, it clicks with him. He’s going to go real far in the business, like I said he’s got a little growing to do though.”

On the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso lost to Randy Orton and LA Knight. Catch up on our coverage here.
