Two NXT stars are reportedly at the WWE SmackDown taping on December 15.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Axiom and Gable Steveson were both “spotted” in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the site of the SmackDown taping on Friday.
Axiom recently made his SmackDown debut; he faced Dragon Lee on the November 17 episode. He has remained active on NXT, as he defeated Nathan Frazer on the NXT Deadline Kickoff show.
Steveson has made multiple appearances on the main roster. On the December 9, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown, he and Kurt Angle gave Alpha Academy a milk bath. Steveson has been absent from WWE programming in recent months; his first televised match was at NXT Great American Bash on July 30.
He had been set to compete in the 2023 World Championships in amateur wrestling, but he withdrew from the competition. In September, Shawn Michaels said they had every intention of using Steveson in NXT again. Steveson has wrestled at a few live events in recent months. Most recently, he competed at the NXT live event on December 2.
