For over a year and a half, one all-female faction has been ruling WWE. The faction is none other than Damage CTRL. The one who gathered up a group of women to form the faction was former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. The group started with Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY. Now there are two more members in the group. They are Asuka and Kairi Sane.
Recently, the Women’s Grandslam Champion was a special guest on the Gabby AF podcast. During the episode, Bayley opened up about Damage CTRL. She mentioned that the entire faction is so much fun. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion stated that she’s having so much fun on and off-camera.
“It’s so much fun. It’s so much fun for the goofy person in me. And then so much fun as a professional to be able to be like, ‘Oh my God! Like look at these women of wrestlers that I’m aligned with. They think I’m cool enough to be on my team.’ I feel like I made it because they want to be around me. So, professionally it’s an honor to be with them. But also personally, they are just the funniest people. And I get to watch that…”
Bayley thinks IYO SKY, Asuka, and Kairi Sane could have their own show
Bayley also wants SKY, Asuka, and Sane to have their real-life talk show. She believes that the trio is so goofy and funny that they could pull-off an entertaining show outside the WWE realm.
“Like IYO, Kairi, and Asuka, they could have their own damn talk show. Their own real-life show because they’re just so funny, and goofy, and cute together. And Dakota is hilarious backstage too. So, when we’re all together, it’s like all of our real-life goofiness just floods and it’s so much fun. I wish we can do it more on the non-televised shows. Like the Live Events we do on the weekends because It’s the best time,” Bayley said.
