A new report provides an update on Gable Steveson‘s future with WWE.
Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson has made multiple appearances on WWE programming, and he had a brief run on NXT in 2023. He made his in-ring debut at NXT Great American Bash, where he wrestled Baron Corbin to a double count-out. Over the next few months, Steveson wrestled at several NXT live events. Steveson has also competed in dark matches at the past two tapings of WWE SmackDown.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Gable Steveson will be at “pretty much every” SmackDown taping going forward. He will likely continue to work dark matches to gain in-ring experience.
