Finn Balor’s WWE contract is reportedly set to expire in 2024.
On January 22, Raj Giri reported that Finn Balor’s WWE contract is up after WrestleMania 40. He wrote that he heard that Balor had not been approached to renew his deal yet.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) subsequently reported an update, as sources close to Balor confirmed that his contract is up this year. However, they claim that is deal is not set to expire “immediately after WrestleMania”, but rather “within a few months” ” of the show. Sapp writes that Giri noting that WWE had not reached out has been case for a number of wrestlers whose contracts are coming up.
Finn Balor previously starred in NJPW, and he signed with WWE in 2014. He moved to the main roster in 2016, and he became the inaugural Universal Champion. He also won the Intercontinental Championship. Balor later returned to NXT in 2019, and he won the NXT Championship for the second time. Balor has been back on the main roster since 2021. He has been featured as a member of The Judgment Day. Balor currently holds the tag team titles with Damian Priest.
