What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page wrestling to a time-limit draw. It was then announced by Tony Schiavone (through Tony Khan) that the AEW World Championship match at Revolution will be a three-way with Page, Swerve, and Samoa Joe.

Elsewhere on the show, Tony Khan announced AEW Dynamite: Big Business on March 13 in Boston. It’s heavily implied this will be the long-awaited debut of Mercedes Moné.

In women’s action, Toni Storm defeated Red Velvet. Deonna Purrazzo did commentary during the matchup.

In the main event of the show, Sting and Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson attacked Sting and Allin following the match.
