Paul Wight finally returned to AEW television this week. The former WWE Champion also got physical once again. His appearance came after teasing fans about wrestling again ahead of AEW Dynamite Beach Break.

Paul Wight saves Steve Borden Jr. at AEW Beach Break
On AEW Dynamite: Beach Break pre-show, Steve Borden Jr. teamed with Kiran Grey. They faced Jay Lethal and Blake Christian on the pre-show. After the match, Lethal and Christian attacked both men.
Just when things looked really bad, Paul Wight’s music hit. He walked straight to the ring. Fans gave him a loud reaction as he arrived. Footage on social media showed him blasting Blake Christian with a huge overhand chop. Moments later, he hit Jay Lethal with a chokeslam.
The attack ended almost instantly after that. Wight then shook hands with Steve Borden Jr. and Kiran Grey before leaving the ring. The segment marked his first physical AEW appearance in nearly two years. Now, his in-ring comeback looks closer than many fans expected.
