NXT will soon have a Women’s North American Champion.
NXT General Manager Ava announced the creation of the new title during NXT Stand & Deliver. She praised the quality of NXT’s women’s division before revealing the new title design.
“I truly believe that the women are the backbone of NXT,” Ava explained. “That is why I am so excited and honored to announce that soon, we will be crowning the first-ever Women’s NXT North American Champion.”
The women’s title closely resembles the men’s North American Championship, with some slight variations, including the white leather strap being the most notable change.
Ava did not confirm when the title would be introduced, or who would compete to be crowned inaugural champion.
