WWE And UFC Join Forces To Bring NXT Battleground To UFC APEX On June 9

WWE and UFC are teaming up for NXT Battleground.

WWE announced that, in partnership with UFC, NXT Battleground will be held at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 9. This will mark the first WWE event to ever be held at the UFC APEX. The venue is a 130,000-square foot production facility that is the host of UFC Fight Nights and other events.

The show had been scheduled for May 26. It was set to be held at the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, before WWE postponed it. The original date would have put the show up against AEW Double or Nothing.

This marks the most substantial crossover between WWE and UFC since the two companies merged to form TKO in September 2023. The merger came after WWE entered an agreement with Endeavor in April.

In March, Aaron Varble of SEScoops reported that WWE was considering moving NXT Battleground to the UFC APEX. WrestleVotes also reported the news.

As of this writing, no matches have been announced for NXT Battleground.
