Report: Update On Ricochet’s Future After Bron Breakker Attack On 6/10 WWE RAW

A new report provides an update on Ricochet after he was seemingly written off WWE television.

On the June 10 episode of WWE RAW, Bron Breakker attacked Ricochet backstage. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was loaded into an ambulance, leaving his future unclear. The fan-favorite gave WWE his notice regarding his intention to leave the company when his contract expires this summer.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the plan was indeed for Ricochet to be written off WWE television on the June 10 episode of WWE RAW. Johnson writes that there was some talk that, given there is still some time left on his contract and the buzz surrounding him, one last WWE appearance could be a possibility so that WWE could “maximize the situation.”

Per Johnson, there was a creative pitch for Ricochet to potentially make another appearance. However, there is no word on whether it will happen. The report notes that his contract is believed to be up “sometime around July.”

Ricochet signed with WWE in 2018. He is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and WWE United States Champion, among other accolades.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
