AEW Collision Results – June 15, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off Christian Cage, welcoming everyone to the one-year anniversary of Collision and running down all the great things he’s done on this show over the past year. Cage guarantees tonight’s Collision will be very special.

Blackpool Combat Club defeated TMDK, Lio Rush, and Rocky Romero

  • Jon Moxley hits Lio Rush with the Deathrider to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Jon Moxley says Naito is a survivor, but Forbidden Door is the final conflict, and it’s his last chance to defeat him for the IWGP Championship. Moxley says he’s coming to Forbidden Door to put an end to Naito once and for all. Moxley says at Forbidden Door he’s going to end Naito’s career and bury his ass once and for all.

A video package plays hyping up this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite match between MJF and RUSH.

The Acclaimed have something to say

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Max Caster says they usually come out and rap and do some punchlines, but today The Young Bucks issued them a $5,000 fine for disparaging company executives. Caster says the EVPs are out of touch with the AEW fans.

Caster says AEW fans want him on the microphone roasting everyone and Billy and Bowens hitting the scissors. Anthony Bowens says this Wednesday night on Dynamite, they will face The Young Bucks for the first time since 2020, and they aren’t the same team they faced four years ago.

Bowens runs down The Acclaimed’s accomplishments over the last four years. Bowens says they can fine them all they want, but nothing will stop them from getting their tag titles back. Caster tells the Young Bucks to take their fines and stick it up their ass. Caster tries to rap but is interrupted by Brandon Cutler.

Brandon Cutler says the EVPs have carried this show on their backs since day one, but The Acclaimed take every opportunity to disparage them. Cutler tries to fine them more money. Christopher Daniels comes out and says Tony Khan has reversed the fines and given them back their money. Daniels beats Cutler’s ass and tosses him in the ring with The Acclaimed, who beat him up more.

A heated rivalry comes to a head on AEW Collision

Deonna Purrazzo defeated Thunder Rosa in a no-disqualification match

Hechicero (w/ The Gates of Agony) defeated Dalton Castle (w/ The Boys)

  • Hechicero hit Dalton Castle with a twisted standing leg drop to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Hechicero and Gates of Agony attack Castle and The Boys. Daniel Garcia and Daddy Magic make the save with steel chairs.

Top Flight and Action Andretti are backstage. It’s announced that Shane Taylor Promotions and Darius and Andretti are banned from ringside. Dante Martin says he’s about friendly competition and remembers when Lee Moriarty used to be the same way. Lio Rush comes in and tries to catch up with Dante Martin and wishes him luck tonight. Andretti is open to it since they have history but Darius wanted nothing to do with him.

Christian Cage’s Father’s Day Celebration

Mother Wayne, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne are in the ring. Mother Wayne introduces Christian Cage as he makes his way to the ring. Cage tells Youngstown to sit down and shut up as he conducts his business. Cage says today is the anniversary of Nick Wayne’s biological father’s passing and says his father dying was the best thing that ever happened to him because it led Wayne to him.

Nick Wayne hands Christian Cage a handmade Father’s Day card. Cage reads it out loud. Killswitch reveals a painting of Cage that he did himself. Cage says it’s okay and goes back to praising Wayne’s card. Christian says he’s never been more proud to be a father, and he will cherish this card forever.

The crowd chants for Luchasaurus, and Cage reminds them that his name is Killswitch and asks him why he can’t be more like Nick. Killswitch tries to leave, but Cage says he didn’t dismiss him and brings him back into the ring.

Cage says he came up short to Swerve Strickland at Double or Nothing and claims that there is alternate footage of his shoulder being up. Cage says The Young Bucks told him they wanted to air it, but it wasn’t needed. Christian wants to work his way back up to the AEW World Championship and is starting with the AEW Trios Titles.

Christian Cage declares AEW to be his company and says he’s the biggest signing in company history and he won’t stop until he’s the greatest wrestler in history. Cage says he is Tony Khan’s father now.

Everyone wants a shot at Bullet Club Gold

Juice Robinson, The Gunn Club, and Cardblade are backstage. Robinson says he helped build AEW Collision into what it is today. The Gunns say everyone wants a shot at them; he mentions House of Black and says that just because Christian Cage wants a shot doesn’t mean he’s not going to have to earn it and get in line. They make it clear that tonight’s match with House of Black isn’t for the AEW Trios Titles.

Dante Martin defeated Lee Moriarty in a TNT Ladder Match Qualifier

  • Dante Martin hits Lee Moriarty with a Frog Splash to score the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Shane Taylor Promotions attacked Dante Martin. Darius Martin and Action Andretti came out to try to even the odds, but they got taken down, too. Lio Rush hits the ring and clears out Shane Taylor Promotions all by himself. Dante and Lio share a nod of respect.

A video package plays for Hikaru Shida, announcing she will be entering the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.

Roderick Strong joins the commentary team for the next match.

Kyle O’Reilly defeated Anthony Henry

  • Kyle O’Reilly locks Anthony Henry in a cross-arm breaker submission in a relatively quick match.

It’s time… for the main event!

House of Black defeated Juice Robinson and The Gunns of Bullet Club Gold in a non-title match

  • Buddy Matthews was injured during the match and was taken to the back. PAC comes out and distracts Bullet Club Gold as Malakai Black hits The End on one of The Gunns to score the pinfall victory for his team.

The Patriarchy appears on the Tron after the match. Christian Cage congratulates them on becoming number one contenders for the AEW Trios Titles, but the problem is they aren’t a trio anymore. The camera pans down to Buddy Matthews at their feet and tease that he was hit with a Conchairto. Black and King rush to the back as AEW Collision goes off the air.
