TNA IMPACT Spoilers From Philadelphia, PA (Taped On 6/28)

TNA held the first night of their latest set of TNA IMPACT tapings from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 28.

  • First Class (Rich Swann & AJ Francis) def. Sinner & Saint
  • Sami Callihan def. Trent Seven
  • Moose def. Bhupinder Gujjar. Alisha Edwards was on commentary.
  • Ace Austin (w/Chris Bey) def. Brian Myers (w/Eddie Edwards ringside/doing commentary)


  • Johnny “Dango” Curtis def. Chris Bey after Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers interfered.
  • Trey Miguel vs. Leon Slater ended in a no contest when NXT star Charlie Dempsey attacked Slater. Dempsey also attacked Miguel, Zachary Wentz, and the referee. Security and referees came out to get Demsey to leave.
  • Jody Threat vs. Dani Luna ended in a time-limit draw. They got five more minutes, but TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards came out and attacked them.
  • Frankie Kazarian def. Mike Santana via DQ to advance to the world title match at TNA Slammiversary. In the closing moments, Johnny “Dango” Curtis came out and threw Santana into the post outside and busted him open. Santana then got counted out.
  • Joe Hendry def. Jake Something to the world title match at TNA Slammiversary.
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey def. Jonathan Gresham and KUSHIDA
  • NXT’s Izzi Dame answered Jordynne Grace’s open challenge.
  • TNA Knockouts World Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) def. Izzi Dame
  • Charlie Dempsey def. Zachary Wentz when NXT’s Myles Borne interfered. Borne & Dempsey attacked The Rascalz after the match.
  • Gisele Shaw def. Tasha Steelz
  • Eric Young & Josh Alexander def. Campaign Singh & Mustafa Ali; Ali left before the match ended)
  • Matt & Reby Hardy def. Eddie & Alisha Edwards (w/Brian Myers). Myers got ejected from ringside. Matt hit Eddie with a Twist of Fate.

The tapings will continue on June 29.
