Two WWE shows are returning.
Last month, WWE and A&E launched two new programs as the part of the former’s expanding partnership with the television network. Firstly, WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) premiered on Sunday, February 16 in the 8pm EST timeslot.
This series follows sixteen hopefuls on their journey to potentially secure a spot on the WWE NXT roster. Along the way, the rising in-ring talents are guided and evaluated by coaches such as The Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubby Ray Dudley. WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and Paul “Triple H” Levesque offer mentorship throughout the series as well while also serving as executive producers. The likes of Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, Jeremy Borash, Rob Sharenow, Elaine Frontain Bryant, and Brad Abramson also act as executive producers.
According to Peter White of Deadline, WWE LFG has been renewed for a second season on A&E, with Michelle McCool, The Undertaker, Booker T, and Bubby Ray Dudley being listed as the coaches.
Similarly, the report indicates that WWE’s Greatest Moments, hosted by play-by-play announcer Michael Cole, will return to A&E as well.
