WWE Is Inducting A Match Into The WWE Hall Of Fame as an ‘Immortal Moment’

WWE is introducing a new aspect of the WWE Hall of Fame.

As announced on the March 28th episode of WWE SmackDown, the WrestleMania 13 match between Bret Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as an Immortal Moment at the ceremony on April 18. A video package highlighted the match. The broadcast team noted that both Hart and Austin would attend the Hall of Fame ceremony.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

Mick Foley recently agreed that his Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker was worthy of a Hall of Fame induction. Check out his comments here.

WrestleZone spoke with Dark Side of the Ring Executive Producer and Co-Creator Evan Husney, and he said that only a few matches were worthy of the honor. However, he named Foleys’s match with The Undertaker as one that deserved that recognition.
