Seems like CM Punk has found a new friend in Bert Kreischer.
After this week’s episode of WWE Raw went off the air, CM Punk appeared to be at a disadvantage when Austin Theory and Grayson Waller confronted him. Luckily for him, comedian Bert Kreischer hopped the barricade (and unclothed his upper half) to even the odds.
As Kreischer stood at ringside, Waller approached him. Meanwhile, Punk hit Theory with a GTS in the ring, prompting Waller to slide back into the ring and meet the same fate. Unfortunately for A-Town Down Under, the beating didn’t stop there, as Kreischer laid them both out, courtesy of two chokeslams. With that, the Minneapolis crowd and Punk erupted in cheers. (Punk and Kreischer also took turns trying on the denim coat the Seth Rollins left behind from the preceding segment.)

Prior to his chokeslam escapades, Kreischer appeared in a backstage segment on Raw alongside American Made and Alpha Academy. Much to Chad Gable’s dismay, Kreischer informed them that he wasn’t attending Raw to see them. Moments later, Kreischer and Otis bonded over their mutual for posing with their shirts off.
In addition to his comedy work, Kreischer is known as a reality television host, actor and podcaster. Notable TV credits include Trip Flip, The X Show, and Bert the Conqueror, a Travel Channel reality show.
