Ricky Saints has responded to the “Tony fumbled” chants that have been heard recently on WWE NXT.
NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints recently spoke to Good Karma Wrestling. When asked about the recent chants heard on WWE programming that insinuate that All Elite Wrestling’s Tony Khan fumbled with him, Saints said he appreciates that the fans care about him, but doesn’t want to put someone else down.
“My reaction is, it’s not about what happened in the past. It’s about like, let’s focus on now, and my work that I’m doing now,” Ricky Saints said. “I appreciate the sentiment that they care about me and have opinions about the situation, but let’s not put somebody else down.”
Saints will defend the North American Championship against Ethan Page this weekend at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.
We will have live coverage of NXT Stand & Deliver on WrestleZone later this weekend.
