Tommaso Ciampa is ok… but his beard is not.
Ciampa had an unfortunate accident where he fell and busted open his chin. The injury was serious enough that he had to shave his beard. Ciampa showed off the before and after photos of what the huge gash under his chin looks like.
“Warning: graphic images ahead,” Ciampa wrote. “Full Transparency: I had a fall this morning. I’m okay. But my beard is not.”

Tommaso Ciampa did not share how he busted his face open, but the serious injury happened after he appeared on this week’s episode of SmackDown. He and Johnny Gargano appeared in a non-wrestling role on WWE SmackDown this week. DIY interfered in the Street Profits versus Motor City Machine Guns tag team title match, resulting in a no contest.
DIY hopped the barricade in the middle of the match and attacked all of the competitors before running off with the title belts. Later in the show, Nick Aldis stopped a major brawl from happening and took the belts back from DIY. As a result, he booked a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for next week’s show.
