The current NXT Women’s Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, reacted to Charlotte Flair using one of her signature moves on the grandest stage of them all.
This past Saturday night was Night One of WrestleMania 41. One of the most anticipated matches of the night was the match between Flair and Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s title. After a hard-fought battle, The Buff Barbie managed to defeat Flair and retain her title.
During the match, The Queen Charlotte Flair hit a unique signature move that was familiar to many people, including Vaquer. La Primera calls it The Devil’s Kiss. It is when she locks in a head scissors and slams her opponent on the floor. Flair hit the same headscissors slam on Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania and Stephanie Vaquer reacted to it.
La Primera claimed that there is a big difference between her hitting the Devil’s Kiss and Charlotte Flair’s version. She insinuated that there was a big difference between the two.
“I thinks there’s a big difference between hers and mine,” Stephanie Vaquer tweeted.
Fans reacted to the tweet as well. While some agreed with her statement, a majority of fans reminded Vaquer that the Devil’s Kiss was one of Charlotte Flair’s movesets in the past and thus, Vaquer should not be taking shots at The Queen.
