CM Punk has acted in multiple television series and also in a few movies. The SYFY network recently released the official trailer for its upcoming horror series Revival. One of the characters in the series is played by the Second City Saint. Punk is seen in multiple scenes of the trailer.
The series is based on the Image Comics series, which was also published under the same name, Revival. The comic series was created by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, while the television series was created by Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce. The series takes place in a small rural town in Wisconsin. There is one particular day in the town which is known as ‘Revival Day’. On that day, the dead come back to life and have all their memories from their past lives. A murder investigation is underway and the living and the dead are all suspects.
The series is set to premiere on the 12th of June on the SYFY Network. It is currently unknown how many episodes CM Punk will appear in.
The main characters of the show are played by Melanie Scrofano, Andy McQueen, Romy Weltman, and David James Elliott.
Revival is one of two upcoming projects that CM Punk has in the works. Another one, called Night Patrol, will see him play a vampire.
