There are plenty of pro wrestling fans who say that they hate Tessa Blanchard. Now there’s a shirt to prove it.
Blanchard returned to TNA in December 2024 at the company’s Final Resolution event. Blanchard made her first appearance in TNA since 2020, when her contract was terminated by the promotion. TNA reportedly fired Blanchard, the reigning TNA World Champion at the time, due to her refusing to appear at scheduled appearances. The end of Blanchard’s tenure was also marred by allegations of bullying and racism. Blanchard reportedly called La Rosa Negra a racist slur, which was witnessed by multiple female wrestlers.
Blanchard made amends with La Rosa Negra in 2023, but has continued to deny the allegations. Wrestling fans have been less enthusiastic to forgive Blanchard due to her repeated denials and lack of accountability for the incident. During her latest run in TNA, some crowds have responded negatively and even chanted “She’s a racist” at Blanchard.
TNA has used the “heat” that Blanchard has gotten from fans and positioned her as a heel. Now, the company is leaning into the negative reception even more with a new “I Hate Tessa” t-shirt.
The shirt, available on TNAMerch.com, features an image of Tessa Blanchard next to her diamond B logo and the phrase “I Hate Tessa.”

Fans were quick to point out why the ‘I Hate Tessa’ shirt was a bad idea
The promotion clearly hopes fans will buy the shirt to capitalize on the attention she gets. However, some fans were quick to show why they missed the mark.
“Now remind everyone of WHY we do,” Young Kings Wrestling wrote on Twitter.
“Y’all are commercializing racism,” @SophieMe0ws added. “Great, just great.”
“Now can you please stand in front of the class and explain the reasoning as to WHY people hate her outside her character,” said @JayBands24.
Again, how many times do we have to tell you we don't hate her character. We really hate her. We're not buying this.
