Sammy Guevara Reveals The Stupidest Purchase He’s Made After ‘Making It’

Sammy Guevara isn’t worried about how fans might view his legacy, but he still has a few silly regrets in his career.

Guevara recently spoke with WrestleZone and shared what he wants fans to talk about more. Guevara says he’s working on not letting criticism or others’ perceptions bother him as much. However, he sees himself as someone who had a dream of becoming a pro wrestler, and he went out and did it.

“A big thing that I am working on is a desire to not care so much [about being] seen. So, whatever people want to remember me by or don’t want to remember me by, that’s their own prerogative. Ultimately, this is how I see myself. I am just a kid who ultimately wanted to be a professional wrestler, and I went out and did it.

“Despite whatever cliche that might sound like, ultimately, I’m just a kid that tried and did it. And I have made YouTube videos and vlogs where I promote that. There, me and the person that’s watching this, there’s no difference other than a choice to go after something that your heart desires. And my heart desired to be a professional wrestler. And I made that happen and for anybody out there, you can make that happen too,” Sammy Guevara said.

Sammy Guevara highlights his craziest purchase after ‘making it’

During the interview, Guevara was also asked to name his craziest or most frivolous purchases after he felt he “made it” as a pro wrestler. Guevara said that being a parent has quelled most of those impulses, but still named one item as the stupidest purchase he’s made.

“Now, I look at certain things, like I was at a Con recently. And I was looking at this big Goku statue and it cost like $400. And I was like, ‘Man, this is really cool.’ I was like, ‘Ah, come on! I’m going to spend $400.’ So, [parenthood] is making me second-guess my purchases now.

“But, years ago, just for a bit, basically in the vlog, I think I spent $500 on a Versace Robe and I was just like, ‘Man, this is so stupid.’ Even when I am wearing it, I still have it to this day. But it’s like, ‘Man, why did I spend $500 on a robe?’ Probably it was more. I think it might have been $700. But it’s just a bathrobe. I can just buy a towel for $20 or whatever. That’s one of the stupidest purchases I think I’ve ever done.”
