This was a fun match. A nice lucha libre showcase for WWE fans not familiar with the style. The crowd was really into it, and I would say this was a successful way to open the show. Adding an additional match to Money in the Bank tonight through this show was a surprise I didn’t expect.
Legado del Fantasma is in action later on
Chuey Martinez is backstage with Legado del Fantasma. Santos Escobar hypes tonight’s six-man tag and says Legado owns the world of Lucha Libre.
Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice vs. Dalys and Chik Tormenta

The match started rough. It felt like the four women weren’t really on the same page early on. But they started to gel more as the match went on, and it turned into an entertaining bout. Good stuff overall.
Will Chad Gable become the new AAA Mega Champion?
Chuey Martinez is backstage with Chad Gable, who says the Mexican people love him. Gable puts over El Grande Americano and says he’ll be leaving Worlds Collide tonight as the new AAA Mega Champion.
Legado del Fantasma vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown

My least favorite match on the show so far. It was fine, but it didn’t capture my attention like the other matches had previously. Still a solid effort from everyone involved.
Vero Rodriguez has a quick interview with El Hijo del Vikingo backstage in Spanish.

From my least favorite thing on the show to my absolute favorite. This match ruled. All four men busted their asses and really put on an excellent show. I’m sure the main event will deliver, but that is going to be a tough match to follow.
AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable
- The finish of the match saw El Hijo del Vikingo hit Chad Gable with the 630 splash to score the pinfall victory.

WWE Worlds Collide Review:
I would certainly consider the first joint show between WWE and AAA a success. There was a lot of fun in-ring action with two fantastic finals matches. The crowd was hot for the entire show, and they did a great bridge to Money in the Bank later tonight with the announcement of the Intercontinental Title match. If you’re a fan of pro wrestling, I can’t imagine you watching Worlds Collide and not enjoying it.
