The IInspiration are back in TNA Wrestling, and it couldn’t come at a better time for the Knockouts tag team division.
Last night, during the Countdown show to Against All Odds, the former TNA Knockouts Champions Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay made their surprise return to the company to confront the current champions Heather and Ash by Elegance.
But how long has this return been in the works?
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), the deal to bring Lee and McKay back took place in the last couple of weeks. They are each signed to one-year contracts. With the option to extend if both parties are satisfied with how things are progressing.
Sources within TNA suggest that regime changes over the years contributed to their decision to return to the company.
