Last Saturday at the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, R-Truth made his shocking return. He was fired only a week before, and then he was hired back by WWE. Recently, former WWE Superstar Shotzi Blackheart shared her thoughts on the return of R-Truth.
Shotzi Blackheart was a special guest on the Ariel Helwani Show. During the interview, Blackheart mentioned that she is convinced that WWE did release R-Truth. She also believes the fans were the reason he was rehired by WWE.
Shotzi Blackheart says R-Truth’s return highlights how much power fans could have
“I do think that they actually let him go. Yeah. Well, I just feel like, because also at the same time Carlito and Sarah Logan’s contracts, they told them that their contract wasn’t getting renewed. I think it would be really messed up from WWE to capitalize on that to… the fans got him [R-Truth] back. I think the fans got him back. And that just shows you how much power the fans do have sometimes. So, I think that’s really cool.”
Shotzi Blackheart was also impressed with Truth’s promo on Monday Night Raw.
“Which [R-Truth’s Ron Killing’s promo] is amazing. And like, so cool. And yes, he’s 53. That just gives us hope that I could be 53 years old and be put in some crazy storyline right?” Shotzi Blackheart said.
