The National Wrestling Alliance is bringing its signature event to New York.
On Monday, the promotion announced that NWA 77 will take place on August 16 at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. Huntington is located on the North Shore of Long Island.
“Don’t miss your opportunity to witness history in the making at this anniversary spectacular, NWA’s biggest Signature Live Event of the year. Bring the entire family to experience all the unforgettable moments, pulse-pounding excitement, and jaw-dropping action the modern NWA has to offer,” the National Wrestling Alliance wrote in a press release.
NWA 77 will mark the first tentpole event that the NWA has hosted in New York under Billy Corgan’s ownership. Earlier this year, the promotion hosted a live event in Freeport, New York. NWA’s annual anniversary event will stay on the East Coast for the second year in a row; NWA 76 took place in Philadelphia. Under Corgan, NWA 70 took place in Nashville, while the next three (73, 74, 75) all took place at the Chase’s Khorassan Ballroom in St. Louis.
