He’s a Visionary…
“Mr. Money in the Bank” Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker stand in the ring while the crowd sings Rollins’ theme. Rollins welcomes the crowd to “Monday Night Rollins.” The crowd boos as Rollins notes they are sending him mixed signals. Rollins asks the crowd what they want. The crowd chants for CM Punk. Rollins notes that the crowd chants for Punk, the OTC, and everyone else, and then they sing his song. It’s evident to Rollins that they have no idea what they want, so he doesn’t care what they want. The WWE Universe doesn’t know what’s good for them, so they need people like Rollins to tell them what’s good for them.

Rollins says all of the things the crowd wants are because of him. Roman Reigns only exists because of him. CM Punk is only back in WWE because this company wanted to cash in on how much he hates CM Punk. Rollins takes credit for Cody Rhodes, the World Heavyweight Championship, and the NXT Championship. Every revolution faces opposition. Rollins promises to deal with it diplomatically until they push him too far. That’s precisely what LA Knight did. Knight got Tsunami after Tsunami for his troubles. Breakker will do the same thing to another thorn in their side, Penta. Every champion and all of their challengers are fighting for second place to Rollins.
Grade: C
Raw is better when it doesn’t start with Rollins cosplaying as late 2000s Triple H. This promo went in circles and did nothing for anyone.

Grade: B
This was a hard-hitting, fun contest. This could have gone on for another ten minutes. Penta and Breakker play off each other’s styles quite well, and they built to the finish with close near falls and tons of action. We need to see these two go at it again.

This was one of Cargill’s better singles matches since joining WWE. Perez is amazing in the ring and did her best to play the smarmy heel to Cargill’s powerhouse babyface. There were a few missteps, but this was still a solid match. Cargill is coming along, and Perez continues to be put in the position to look like a star.

Guntaaaaah!
The World Heavyweight Champion Gunther complains about Goldberg ruining his championship victory last week. Goldberg looked him straight in the eye and told Gunther that he’s next. Gunther thought about what it meant to be next. Normally, that means getting Speared, Jackhammered, and ending up looking at the lights. It’s not 1999 anymore.
It’s 2025, and Gunther is the best wrestler in this company, and the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist proves it. Nothing Goldberg says will change Gunther’s perception of him. Gunther says Goldberg is a one-trick pony that can’t lace Gunther’s boots. Gunther takes this opportunity to apologize to Goldberg’s wife and kids for what he will do to the memory of what used to be Goldberg. The crowd cheers as Gunther promises to end Goldberg’s legacy.
Grade: A
Gunther just gave his version of an Optimus Prime speech. This writer is ready to watch Gunther dog walk Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Lyra Valkyria hops the barricade and tries to help Bayley. Lynch decks Valkryia and begs Valkryia to hit her. Lynch dropkicks Valkyria. Bayley tosses Lynch around the outside area. Bayley tosses Lynch back in the ring and sets up her patented diving elbow off the top. Valkyria rolls in and attacks Lynch, causing a disqualification.
Winner- Becky Lynch
Grade: B-
This one was a bit odd. We’ve seen these two have way better matches. Though it had a hot start, these two seemed to be moving at half speed midway through the match. The finish of this one was wild and all over the place. Valkyria is the worst, and hopefully, Bayley breaks her foot off in her, you know what, after this.

Ripley tosses Perez and tries to give Rodriguez a big boot. Rodriguez reverses the boot into a powerbomb through the table. Rodriguez helps Perez up and gives her a hug.
Grade: B
This was a shockingly effective promo from Rodriguez. Rodriguez is usually dead on the mic, but she came off as a badass here tonight. Having Rodriguez and Perez team up and take out Ripley was genius. Liv Morgan isn’t going to like this.
Backstage, Ripley barges into Raw GM Adam Pearce‘s office and demands a match against Perez. Pearce agrees.
Well this is interesting!#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/6YQrftDnyT

Winner- Cody Rhodes
After the match, Jey and Rhodes hug.
Grade: B
It was a solid match, but standard Raw main event stuff. You’d think a match featuring these two competitors would have more of a big-fight feel. That said, this one built to an epic conclusion. Each near fall was so close you could fit a slip of paper under it. This match legitimately felt like it could go either way.
WWE Raw Review:
Tonight featured a few solid matches and a meandering opening promo from Seth Rollins. Gunther’s fiery promo on Goldberg was a master class, and the finals of both the King and Queen of the Ring are set with Jade Cargill taking on Asuka and Cody Rhodes facing his mentor Randy Orton. Raw was a mixed bag, but it set the stage well for the upcoming Night of Champions event.
