After AEW lost multiple top talents for a variety of reasons following All In: Texas, it appears TNA is losing a former World Champion as well.
Last night at TNA Slammiversary, Moose dropped the X-Division Championship to Leon Slater in one of the best matches of the pay-per-view.
Less than 24 hours later, Moose took to his Instagram page to reveal that he will be taking a step back away from TNA to heal up following his lengthy title reign, posting the following message:
“I’ve accomplished almost everything here at @tnawrestling ……. @leonslater_ I have the ultimate respect for you and the X-Division is now in your hands….. SHOW THEM HELL. For me, it’s time to take a step back…. Get healthy and see what’s next…I’ll be back soon *four heart emojis* TRUSTTHESYSTEM,” Moose said in a post.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) is reporting that Moose was very banged up following his match last night. Noting that the apron bump did damage to his hip and back.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
