Ethan Page reveals a new Canadian-themed WWE NXT North American title.
On WWE NXT, Ethan Page stated that he had become the greatest North American Champion ever. Page said he now wants to bring honor and class to the title. He declared, “What this championship should do is represent the pure dominance of Canada over America, Mexico, and every country in it. Ladies and gentlemen. I was born in Canada, but made in America. And that makes me the greatest North American alive.”
In a shocking moment, Ethan Page threw the NXT North American Title out of the ring. He unveiled a newly designed belt featuring the Canadian flag. Mocking the fans at the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas. He said, “Folks, I’m just proud of being from Canada.”
Adding more insult to injury, Ethan Page mocked the crowd again and told them to stand for the Canadian National Anthem. However, Page gets interrupted by TNA’s Director of Authority, Santino Marella.
Santino Marella said Page’s words made him sick, and the title should be held by someone with real honor and class. He added that while Page may lack those traits, he has them and challenges Page for a match next week.
Ethan Page got mad at Santino Marella for challenging him and told him to fight right now. As they both got ready to brawl, Marella went for the Cobra, but Page quickly rolled out of the ring to avoid it.
