Matt Cardona revealed a “major” deal that his toy company just landed.
Pro wrestling fans know that the former WWE Superstar is a huge toy collector. Cardona and former tag team partner Brian Myers host The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, where they talk about their favorite wrestling toys. Cardona has also shown off his impressive collection many times, including his famous toy room full of action figures.
Matt Cardona and Brian Myers started the Major line to turn their love for toy collecting into a business. Their Major brand includes products like Major Bendies, Big Rubber Guys, Jay & Silent Bob figures, clothing, and figure protectors.
Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona, known for his love of action figures, just shared exciting news. His Major toy company has signed a deal with Major League Baseball to create official Big Rubber Guys figures.
Matt Cardona announced the MLB deal on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: “PLAY BALL! Our toy company, @collectmajor, is now making official @MLB Big Rubber Guys figures!”
Two of the figures are for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets mascots, the Phillie Phanatic and Mr. Met. A third features Macho Man Randy Savage in Cincinnati Reds-themed gear. This is a reference to Savage’s time as an outfielder in the Reds’ minor league system.
Chelsea Green shares Matt Cardona’s initial reaction to John Cena namedrop
John Cena name-dropped Matt Cardona, Claudio Castagnoli, and Nic Nemeth in a “pipebomb-style” promo during his feud with CM Punk last month. WWE Superstar Chelsea Green, later revealed that Matt didn’t see the promo when it aired because he was busy wrestling. She was the one who told him about it afterward.
Speaking at Fanatics Live signing, Chelsea Green said, “He’s chronically online. He never, ever leaves his phone. He happened to be on his phone, so he wasn’t online, didn’t know, and I got to break the news to him. [It’s a] rare occurrence,” Green said. “So I got to tell him, and he was so flustered. He’s like, ‘I don’t understand.’ I’m like, ‘Just go watch it.'”
