Cody Rhodes Praises His Favorite Student For Her Charity Fundraising Campaign

Cody Rhodes is supporting his former student.

Aside from his role as an in-ring performer, Cody Rhodes has spent the last few years as a coach at the Nightmare Factory located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this position, Rhodes worked with the likes of Julia Hart, Ashley D’Amboise, and Brooke Havok, the latter of whom emerged as his first-ever student. Now, Rhodes is rooting Havok on as she sets out across the United States for a special mission.

“Great cause, great person,” Rhodes wrote on Twitter/X. “My 1st student remains my favorite student – go get em’ Brooke!”

Over the next ten weeks, Havok, a rising star on the independent scene, will travel across the country with the aim of finding the best professional wrestling training academy. Along the way, Havok will also raise awareness, support, and money for NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness). In total, Havok looks to raise $15,000, with donations now open through her Tiltify.

Brooke Havok Further Explains Her Mission

“I’m super excited to get to travel and train,” Havok said in her video announcement.” It’s a huge goal that I had when I started training. One of the first things that you learn in pro wrestling is that you never stop learning. So I’m super stoked to get to go to all of these training facilities, check it out, learn from different trainers. And at the end of these ten weeks, I will be awarding the winning school with this custom mini championship belt. It says ‘Number One Pro Wrestling Training School In America.’ I’m super stoked. I hope all those schools are really excited about it as well. Since I have such a high donation goal for this project, I will also be bringing around this wheel for the entire ten weeks and it’s full of penalties that will derail my travel progress.”

For a $1,000 donation, Havok will spin her wheel and execute whatever punishment the arrow lands on. For a $2,000 donation, her penalty will be decided by the person or brand donating. However it shakes out, “The Emo Queen” promised to document her journey through daily reels and a long-form vlog on YouTube.

“Anyone who donates $1, $2, any amount. I appreciate it so much,” Havok said. “I’m really excited for this journey and to see how much money we could raise for Nami. So please stay tuned.”
