The opening match of the first-ever two-night SummerSlam Premium Live Event was a tag team match. The team of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed took on the team of the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.
Both teams had put up a tough fight. In the end, the team of Roman Reigns and Jey Uso managed to pick up the win. At one point in the match, the Original Tribal Chief sacrificed himself to save his tag team partner. By saving Uso, Reigns fell victim to one of Bron Breakker’s vicious Spears. Mr. Main Event then hit a Superkick on Breakker and followed it with a Spear of his own on Reed. Uso then hit a Splash onto Reed and picked up the victory.
After his team took the loss, as a dejected Paul Heyman was retreating to the Gorilla, Roman Reigns had sent a final message to the Oracle, calling him a dumbass.
“You are a dumbass. You’re just a dumbass guy. I told you. You’re a stupid ************! And a Dumbass!” Roman Reigns said.
Last night, on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins and his faction got revenge on Reigns. The OTC got Stomped by Rollins, Speared by Breakker, and also was squashed by two Tsunamis from Bronson Reed. It was later reported that Reigns might be away from WWE for a while following the attack.
