Blake Monroe vs. Kelani Jordan
Jordan rolls in and attacks Monroe before the bell rings. Monroe catches Jordan with a spinning side slam. Monroe works over Jordan. Jordan fires up and lands a flurry. Jordan gets a near fall after a handspring stunner. Monroe is down. Jordan works a single-leg Boston crab. Monroe breaks the hold by getting to the ropes. Jordan dives off the top into a headbutt from Monroe. Jordynne Grace‘s music hits. Grace, who is rocking a neck brace, power walks to the ring. Monroe runs out of the arena. Monroe gets counted out.
Winner- Kelani Jordan
Grade: C+
This one was humming until the blatant interference from Grace. IDK… maybe give us an actual finish before the run-in?

NXT Tag Team Title Match: Hank & Tank (c) vs Chase U (Uriah Connors & Kale Dixon) w/Andre Chase
As soon as the bell rings, Connors lands a series of superkicks. Dixon and Connors double-team Hank and get a near fall. Dixon lands a Fosbury flop. Hank and Tank hit their finish on Dixon for the win.
Winnners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions, Hank and Tank!
After the match, DarkState attacks everyone.
Grade: C+
Standard stuff here. Nothing to write home about. Looks like we are finally getting to DarkState taking the tag titles from Hank and Tank, which this writer predicted when DarkState debuted months ago. Does it matter? Eh… we’ll see.
Lexis King vs. Myles Borne
King grabs Borne and yells in his ear. King locks in a side headlock. Ushigoroshi by Borne. King trips Borne in the ropes. Springboard double stomp by King. King goes up top. Borne catches King with a dropkick in midair. King charges in and gets dumped over the top. Borne lands a dive. After the break, King is working over Borne. Borne fires up and lands a flurry. Borne knees King in the air and hits the Borne Again (ZigZag) for the win.
Winner- Myles Borne
Grade: B-
Solid contest. Borne needs to rack up in a feud that means something. Not sure if this thing with King fits the bill, but it’s something.
Thea Hail vs. Nia Jax
Hail locks in a sleeper as soon as the bell rings. Jax flicks Hail away. Hail tries a crossbody. Jax shoulder blocks Hail out of the sky. Samoan drop by Jax. After the break, Hail runs into a body block from Jax. Leg drop by Jax. Hail kicks out. Hail fires up with a head scissor DDT. Jax kicks out. Hail goes up top. Jax trips Hail. Hail hits the mat with a thud. Jax lands the Annihilator for the win.
Winner- Nia Jax
After the match, Jax dumps on Lash Legend. Lash Legend interrupts and a brawl breaks out.
Grade: B-
Good squash match. Not sure why this needed to be Hail getting eaten up by Jax, but hey, at least Hail got some TV time. This must be what leads to Legend re-debuting on the main roster. Legend and the recently released Jakara Jackson were sorta/kinda called up months ago, but it didn’t take. Chasing Jax back to SmackDown would be a good way to introduce Legend to the WWE Universe at large.
The Ruler!
NXT Champion Oba Femi notes that his last two challengers failed miserably. For over 200 days, Femi has carried this brand. Who will step up to face the Ruler? Femi says the future in NXT isn’t bright because he’s beaten them all. TNA Champion Trick Williams walks out and says he wants to officially be the face of both brands. Je’Von Evans walks out and tells Williams he’s goofy. Evans suggests he fight Williams for a shot at Femi. Femi agrees. TNA’s Moose walks out and confronts Williams. Moose promises to take back the TNA Championship at TNA’s Emergence. DarkState tries to attack, but Moose, Williams, Femi, and Evans fight them off.
Grade: B
Solid promo segemnt. Femi oozes megastar potential with every word. Williams v. Femi isn’t super appealing (we’ve seen it), but Evans against Femi in a singles match could feed families. Can’t help but love the amount of melanin in this segment.
Yoshiki Inamura vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo
Stacks attacks Inamura during his entrance. Stacks mocks Inamura’s frog splash, but Inamura tosses Stacks off the top. Inamura fires up and unleashes sumo strikes and chops. Arianne Grace runs down to ringside and slaps Inamura. In the confusion, Josh Briggs rolls in and boots Inamura in the head. Stacks pins Inamura.
Winner- Stacks
Grade: C+
Decent brawling here, but nothing to write home about. The Briggs/Inamura breakup isn’t landing the way the NXT brace may have thought it would. We haven’t had enough time with Briggs and Inamura to feel feelings over their split.
The Greatest North American
NXT North American Champion Ethan Page gloats and calls himself the greatest North American. Tavion Heights walks to the ring. Heights wants a title shot. Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervce walk out on the ramp. Green puts over Page. Green says Heights wouldn’t hit a woman (as she bows up at Heights). Heights decks Page and tells Green he’ll get someone who can hit her.
Grade: B
Page and Green in a tag team? Sign this writer up.
Women’s North American Title Match: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
Ruca ends up trapped in the corner. Paxley crushes Ruca with a crossbody. Paxley works a modified submission hold. Ruca reverses Paxley’s hold into a surfboard. After a series of reversals, Ruca lands a slingshot x-factor. Sean Spears hops up on the apron. Zaria pulls Spears down. Zaria argues with Spears and the rest of the Culling. Ruca takes out Spears and his cronies with a moonsault off the top. After the break, Paxley works over Ruca. Ruca fires up and hits a backpack stunner. Paxley kicks out. Paxley catches Ruca with a springboard whisper in the wind. Ruca kicks out.
Ruca and Paxley fight up top. Ruca sends Paxley flying with a sunset flip bomb. Ruca misses a spear in the corner. Paxley gets a long two count. Paxley hits her finish. Ruca kicks out. Ruca tries a springboard, but she falls to the floor. Paxley counters Ruca’s next attack into a swinging neckbreaker off the top. Lash Legend and Nia Jax emerge from the back, still fighting. Legend spears Jax through the barricade. Back in the ring, a distracted Paxley eats a Sol Snatcher out of nowhere. Ruca pins Paxley.
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca!
Grade: B
This was a fun match with some crazy near falls. Not sure the Legend/Jax distraction was needed here, and if we are being honest, having them brawl through several segments would have had way more effect if we didn’t see the same thing happen on Monday Night Raw with Rusev and Sheamus.
