Grade: B

Good opening segment, but it was a bit long. Cena laid it on thick here, putting over the crowd. We get it, John. You’re Super Cena again. Not sure we need to see Cena vs. Paul, but it’s better than some of the other options. Seems they are saving Lesnar and Cena for a bigger show.

Grade: C+

Standard stuff here. The MCMG needs to start winning matches if they are ever going to mean anything. The Zayn surprise is fun; it’s always cool to see hometown folks get massive pops. Zayn doesn’t have a chance in hell here, but the match should be fun.

This event is ongoing. This information will be updated as the event progresses.

Good TV Match. Zayn walked into his hometown to a Road Warrior pop. The crowd bit on every near fall, of which there weren’t many. Though this match ran through a break, it seemed a bit rushed. The crowd didn’t care and cheered as if Oprah had just told them they were all getting bees.

Blissful Birthday

The new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are in the ring. The ring is all decked out for a championship celebration, and for Bliss’ birthday, which is tomorrow. Green dumps on Flair and Bliss. Nick Aldis books a match between Green and Flair.

Grade: B-

This was fun and thankfully short. Flair’s partnership with Bliss has worked wonders in terms of Flair’s relationship with the fans.

Green submits.

Winner- Charlotte Flair

Grade: B

This was a good main event that could have been a PLE match if given a bit more time. The non-finish here makes sense, as it’s best to keep everyone involved strong, and helps build to the inevitable singles matches that will take place at the Clash PLE.

Tonight’s show featured solid but rushed in-ring action and effectively built the next phase post-SummerSlam for WWE.
