The road to NXT Heatwave cuts through Philadelphia with a stacked line-up set for tonight featuring Trick Williams, Blake Monroe, Fatal Influence, and more. Speaking of Trick, the TNA World Champion is looking to get back into the NXT title picture with a number one contender’s match against Je’Von Evans. The winner gets Oba Femi this Sunday at Heatwave.
Elsewhere, Josh Briggs takes on former tag team partner Yoshiki Inamura in a Street Fight. These two men squared off against Oba Femi for the NXT Championship in a triple threat back in July. Also set for tonight is singles action featuring Jasper Troy and Ricky Saints.
Former TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich returns to NXT as the special guest referee for six-woman tag team action featuring Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) and The Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather, and M by Elegance).
Ethan Page and Chelsea Green seek a “peace treaty” with Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele, while Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace come face-to-face for the final time before their match scheduled for Heatwave.
