Triple H Confirms Big Name Will Return At WWE Wrestlepalooza

One of Triple H‘s favorite people will be returning to the company next month for WWE Wrestlepalooza on the ESPN app.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H appeared on SportsCenter today to hype the company’s debut event, Wrestlepalooza, on the ESPN app next month. In an effort to appeal to the average ESPN watcher, Hunter announced that Pat McAfee will return to WWE next month at Wrestlepalooza to do commentary on the show.

“September 20th, Wrestlepalooza, in the home of the one and the only Pat McAfee, who’s like family to us. Pat will be there,” Triple H confirmed. “He’s going to light the place up. It’s going to be exciting.” [H/T: WrestlePurists]

McAfee hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the June 2 episode of RAW. He would later go on to explain on his ESPN show that burnout was the reason he needed to step away for a while.

While this is a big crossover talent for the ESPN partnership, amid college football season, we can’t imagine this will be a full-time return for McAfee to WWE.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
