AJ Mana has been removed from KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy following the infamous incident involving Raja Jackson and indie wrestler Syko Stu.
Speaking on the F Y’all Podcast, Mana revealed he was fired from his day job at KnokX Pro after footage of Jackson pummeling Stu with a barrage of fists appeared on TMZ.
“For those that are offended at the fact that I just told the truth, f**k you, because now my f**king life is ruined over your lies,” Mana said. So f**k you…I got a call from my f**king job, ‘We saw the TMZ video. You’re an accessory to an attempted murder. We gotta let you go.’ I can’t wrestle anymore.” (H/T Cultaholic)
AJ Mana claims he was in character during the Raja Jackson incident
Mana first gained notoriety after fellow KnokX Pro wrestler Doug claimed AJ had brought Raja Jackson to the event. He was also caught on Jackson’s Twitch stream encouraging Rampage Jackson’s son to “give Stu a receipt” following a previous altercation between Stu and Jackson.
Earlier reports stated that Stu had thrown a beer can at Raja Jackson after mistaking him for a fellow wrestler but apologized after learning his identity. Both men reportedly agreed to turn the altercation into an angle for KnokX Pro’s Experience event.
After the incident went viral, AJ Mana claimed on social media whatever he said on Jackson’s Twitch stream was “in character” and that he never meant or encouraged real harm upon Syko Stu from Jackson.
Syko Stu remains hospitalized at the time of this writing, with his treatment being funded through a GoFundMe campaign. The incident has since garnered mixed opinions on social media. While many criticized Raja Jackson for his actions, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry said Syko Stu was partially to blame for the incident.
