Becky Lynch Claims She Was Attacked by a Bee During Wrestlepalooza Match

This past Saturday night was the first-ever WWE Premium Live Event that was broadcast by ESPN, Wrestlepalooza. One of the major matches of the night featured the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, and her husband, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The couple will be wrestling CM Punk and his wife, the returning AJ Lee.

This was one of the longest matches of the night. Both teams put up a tough fight. AJ Lee looked like she never lost a step. After wrestling for nearly 30 minutes, Lee managed to lock in her signature Black Widow submission move on Becky Lynch. Thus, forcing The Man to tap out.

Following the match, Becky Lynch took to Instagram to reflect on the match. The Man claimed that she had found the unedited footage of the moment she tapped out. Lynch claimed that she was attacked by a bee and that she was only swatting the bee, and she did not tap out. The Man also claimed that the referee, Jessica Kar, was also biased.

“I have recovered the unedited footage which clearly shows that I was attacked by a rogue bee at the end of the match. I have not tapped out in over 6 years and if it wasn’t for the blatant bias of that crooked referee who so obviously saw that I was being ambushed by the vicious winged insect predator, I would have been declared the winner. @wwe,” Becky Lynch posted.
