Booker T is ready to step in for commentary after Brock Lesnar attacked Corey Graves.
On the 19th September edition of WWE SmackDown, Brock Lesnar attacked commentator Corey Graves. The incident occurred after Lesnar came out for a scheduled sit-down interview with Michael Cole. However, Lesnar came out carried Cole back to the ring and grabbed him by the throat.
As Lesnar’s was about to attack Cole, Corey Graves ran in to help his commentary partner, Lesnar hit him with two F5s. Lesnar then warned John Cena that he was coming for him ahead of their WWE WrestlePalooza match.
Reacting to the attack on Corey Graves, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T offered to fill in for Graves on commentary. Speaking on his Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker T said he is always available and ready to step in.
He said, “Look here man, I wanna send my condolences out to Corey Graves, and hopefully he can get himself back at some point, but if they need somebody to step in, I’m just a phone call away. You know me, I’m always available when I’m available. “My phone is always on, I’m like a doctor with a stethoscope. I’m ready to do this, I’m like the painter with the brush.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]
