WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes checked on Kevin Nash after his heart procedure.
Last month, Kevin Nash revealed that he had been dealing with an irregular heartbeat and needed a cardioversion procedure to fix it. He had later given an update his fans and reassure them that the procedure went smoothly.
On Kliq This, Kevin Nash discussed whether anyone from the wrestling industry reached out to him after news of his heart procedure. He mentioned that Cody Rhodes contacted him to check on how the procedure went.
“I text Cody [Rhodes] back because he asked how my procedure went, Cody did. And I told him, I said: you know, it’s nice to see two f**king guys that caliber, you know, that basically give you, like, just by putting their name next to each other, give you a fire star angle.”
Nash was further asked whether he thinks Cody Rhodes has creative freedom in shaping his matches. He explained management usually allows top stars like Rhodes to contribute ideas, as it can make it easier for them to perform.
“Yes. I think that Paul [Levesque] would [allow it] when you’re at that level. The last thing you wanna do is book a guy when he’s got an idea that might be easier for him to accomplish. Paul’s always going to -He’s a great communicator with the talent.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]
