A TNA star has expressed interest in seeing Ridge Holland join the company once he recovers from injury.
Ridge Holland appears to be going through a streak of bad luck. The former Brawling Brute suffered a Lisfranc injury during a recent TNA TV taping and was carried to the back by his opponent, Moose. WWE reportedly released the NXT star while he was still rehabbing.
Holland later revealed on social media that WWE informed him his contract would not be renewed once it expires next month. While the company will cover his medical rehabilitation, his guaranteed pay will soon end. To make matters worse, he is expected to be out of action for another six months due to the injury.
Moose wants to see Ridge Holland in TNA
Former TNA World Champion Moose took to social media to react to Holland’s WWE release. In a brief post, Moose wished him a speedy recovery and expressed hope that Holland would eventually make his way back to TNA.
“Sorry to hear Ridge ….. speedy recovery hopefully you make it back to TNA. You’re one of the good ones ????,” Moose wrote.
Ridge Holland had recently revitalized his career with a strong run in WWE NXT before the injury. He was involved in an NXT Championship storyline with Trick Williams before participating in the brand’s crossover with TNA.
