WWE Elimination Chamber Set To Return To US For The First Time Since 2021

The hugely popular WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event will be returning to the United States for the first time since 2021.

Last week in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE Elimination Chamber was tentatively set for Chicago on February 28.

Wrestlenomics is now backing this report, confirming it with multiple sources. This will be the first time WWE brings the Elimination Chamber premium live event back to the United States since it took place in St. Petersburg, Florida, back in 2021.

It should be noted that this specific event took place at the ThunderDome and didn’t feature live fans in attendance. The last Elimination Chamber event in the United States with fans was back in 2020, when the event took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. This was the last WWE premium live event in front of fans until WrestleMania 37.

As for the specific venue in Chicago where this event will be taking place, that has yet to be confirmed.

This will be Chicago’s first WWE PLE since 2023

WWE last appeared in Chicago last month for the September 5 episode of SmackDown at the Allstate Arena. As far as premium live events, WWE was last in Chicago for Survivor Series 2023. This also took place at the Allstate Arena and featured the surprise return of CM Punk.

This appears to be the company’s second premium live event of 2026. As things will kick off next year with the Royal Rumble from Saudi Arabia on January 31.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
