Charlotte Flair has named a tennis legend as someone she’d like to face inside the squared circle.
Sports Illustrated caught up with The Queen for a new interview, during which Flair was asked which celebrity or professional athlete she’d want to wrestle if given the chance.
“Serena Williams,” Charlotte replied, praising the tennis great for her incredible power.
Charlotte’s legendary father, Ric Flair, previously said that his daughter’s legacy could be comparable to Williams’ if The Queen ever breaks his record of 16 world title wins in WWE.
It is worth mentioning that John Cena surpassed The Nature Boy’s legendary record, when he beat Cody Rhodes for his 17th and final WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.
Charlotte Flair was in action on WWE SmackDown last week
Charlotte Flair competed in tag team action on SmackDown last Friday. She and Alexa Bliss defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against NXT’s ZARUCA (Zaria and Sol Ruca).
Despite the challengers putting up a strong fight, Flair managed to lock Ruca in the Figure Eight leg lock submission toward the end of the match, forcing the NXT Women’s North American Champion to tap out.
