Drew McIntyre has a hilarious reason for putting Hornswoggle on his bar fight team.
Speaking on No-Contest Wrestling in a new interview, the Scottish Warrior was asked which pro wrestler, past or present, he would pick for his bar fight team.
McIntyre named Brock Lesnar, Cain Velasquez, Haku, and Hornswoggle as his chosen cohorts for a bar fight scenario. The reason he picked Hornswoggle, he joked, was because they needed “someone to sacrifice.”
“Do we need someone to sacrifice? Hornswoggle (laughs). This’ll make some of the boys happy because he drove some of the boys mental. I always got along great with him, but he drove some of the boys mental, and they would end up kicking his a**. You know what? It was totally justified for them to kick his a**,” McIntyre said.
Hornswoggle Recalls Bullying Big E Until He Reached A ‘Breaking Point’
Hornswoggle bullied Big E to the point that he couldn’t take it anymore.
During a recent appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, the former WWE Superstar admitted he had a reputation for being a locker room bully before revealing how picking on Big E led the former WWE Champion to retaliate.
“I picked on Khali a lot. I would just poke and prod him, and poke and prod him until he got his hands on me. ‘Nope! I’m good for today,’” Hornswoggle explained. “Big E, [I picked on him], poked and prodded. And he actually texted Woods and Kofi [and said] ‘I don’t know if I can put up with Dylan anymore, he just keeps bullying me. He just— he won’t stop.’ They’re finally like, ‘Just put him in his place.’
Hornswoggle said Big E responded to his bullying by kicking him in the back while they were walking into a building one day. As Dylan recalled, he walked up to Big E after the kick and admitted that he deserved it. Fans can check out the full comments here.
