Zaria isn’t happy with her friend Sol Ruca’s decision to give up the WWE Speed Women’s Championship.
At WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, Zaria stepped in to defend Sol Ruca’s NXT North American Title after Ruca injured her knee during a tag match against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Zaria ended up losing to Blake Monroe, which caused Ruca to lose her title without being pinned.
After the match, Sol Ruca showed support for Zaria, but things changed on this week’s WWE NXT. She was offered the chance to let someone else defend her WWE Speed Championship, but she refused and decided to vacate the title instead.
Sol Ruca’s decision to vacate the WWE Speed Championship resulted in Zaria being upset with her. WWE NXT General Manager Ava later announced that a tournament would take place to crown a new champion.
Later in the show, backstage interviewer Kelly Kincaid caught up with Zaria and Sol Ruca. Zaria said she plans to enter the tournament and win the title for both of them, but before they could say more, Fatal Influence interrupted.
Despite her determination to win the title for her friend, Zaria made it clear she’s still upset about Sol’s choice. She even posted a GIF on X, formerly known as Twitter, of Batman sitting alone in the rain, symbolizing how disappointed she felt about Ruca’s decision to relinquish her championship.
