WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on November 14.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.158 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.27 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.141 million viewers tuned in. The demo is also slightly up from last week’s show (0.26 rating in the same demographic).
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair regarding WarGames later this month. Flair said she doesn’t trust Ripley and can’t be part of the team, and walks out.
Zack Ryder was revealed as LA Knight’s mystery opponent in the Last Time Is Now Tournament. Knight won the match to advance to the next round.
Elsewhere on the show, Axiom answered Ilja Dragunov’s US Title Open Challenge. Dragunov retained his title once again.
In the main event of the evening, Cody Rhodes defeated Bronson Reed via disqualification to retain the WWE Championship when The Vision interfered. The Usos tried to even the odds, but Drew McIntyre showed up and joined Team Vision for WarGames.

WWE SmackDown Review:
Tonight’s show was a mixed bag. The main event was short and had a screwy finish, but still managed to be the match of the night. Weird pixalation happened during Sikoa’s backstage segment. Was that a Jericho tease? Jade Cargill ran through B-Fab, but seems to be heading towards a feud with Michin, which is fine, but this is giving “AEW TBS Championship” Reigns vibes.
Let’s not do that. Let’s give Cargill things to do and real feuds. The march to WarGames is moving at lightning speed, but at least the WarGames-related content on each show has been interesting. With there being five people on each WarGames team, who do you think will be the surprise partners? Is this a good spot to debut an Oba Femi, or will we maybe see a returning Brock Lesnar?
