Dominik Mysterio: I’ve Accomplished More In Five Years Than My (Alleged) Father Has In 20

Dominik Mysterio believes he’s the King of the Luchadors.

Speaking to actor Nick Turturro on Delivering Happiness, WWE Superstar and reigning AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio had high praise for himself.

Dominik Mysterio explained Luchadors and their culture to Nick Turturro, and staying true to his on-screen character, he proclaimed himself the King and greatest Luchador of all time.

“From the forties, and fifties, to hundreds, and thousands of wrestlers, Luchadors, out of all of them, I’m the King, I’m the greatest!

“I’ve only been doing this five years, right. There’s this Mexican company down in Mexico called AAA. Went down there, took over their company, I’m their biggest champion, the best the company has ever done because of me.”

Speaking further, Dominik Mysterio took a shot at Rey Mysterio, saying he accomplished more in five years than what his ‘alleged’ father did throughout his career.

“I’m right now the longest reigning (realizes he’s lost the title), well, Intercontinental Champion, 200 plus days. So I mean, I’ve done things that my father, allegedly, I don’t know which one, took 20 plus years to achieve. I’ve done it in less than a decade, in five years.”

Dominik Mysterio Left An ESPN Host Flustered While Ripping On His ‘Deadbeat Dad’

Dominik Mysterio continues to take shots at his father, Rey Mysterio, in every opportunity he gets, and he did the same while speaking on ESPN First Take.

He remained in character during the interview and did such a good job that he left co-host Shae Cornette a bit shocked when he called his father a deadbeat.

“I’m not a fan of fighting my father, only because he likes to take advantage of me being his son,” Dominik said. “He uses me in ways fathers shouldn’t, which is why I believe he’s the deadbeat that he is. I mean, look at this (points to the screen). Who kicks their child like this? Should’ve called the police. That’s abuse.”
