Jimmy Uso Revealed Why The Usos Wore Face Paint For So Long In WWE

During a recent interview on the Cheap Heat podcast, Jimmy Uso explained why he and Jey Uso wore face paint for a long time from 2013 to 2016.

Jimmy Uso said WWE officials encouraged him and his twin brother to wear face paint so the fans could differentiate between them and Roman Reigns.

“I’ll never forget, when we did that switch… the character changes… you’ve got to evolve around this business,” Jimmy Uso recalled. “When we did the switch, we were like, ‘Yo, we don’t want to wear no paint.’ And they told us, the higher-ups at the time, they were like, ‘You need the paint. How the hell are we going to tell y’all apart from Roman?’

“And I remember going, ‘What? From Roman?’ I remember thinking, like, how, bro? We all look alike, we all got the same ink on us. But we don’t… You can tell The Usos from Roman.” [H/T: WWFOldSchool]
