Former WWE star Enzo Amore (Real1) revealed the full story of how he got kicked out of Dusty Rhodes’ promo class for farting.
On D-Von Dudley’s Youtube channel, Enzo was asked about the legendary incident. He laughed and admitted people still tease him about it today. Enzo explained that the whole thing happened while Baron Corbin was struggling through multiple promo attempts.
He said, “Baron Corbin, you know, he was cutting a terrible promo, bro. I’m talking about over and over again. And Dusty was trying to get something out of him. Like he was like, ‘Hey man, cut that promo again.’ Like this. ‘Hey man, cut that promo again. Give it to us. Give it to us.”
Dusty Rhodes eventually asked the class what Corbin could do better. Enzo sat through the endless attempts and finally raised his hand. That’s when it happened. “Dusty goes, ‘What do you got?’ And I just let out the loudest fart of all time.” Rhodes did not find it funny.
Enzo recalled, “Dusty looked at me and goes, ‘Enzio, come here.’ And I was like, ‘What?’ I walked over to him. He was sitting at a table. He just put his hand out like this, right? And I put my hand in his like… I was like, ‘What am I doing? I don’t know what’s going on.’ And he just touched me so lightly and he walked me to the door. And then he got to the door and he goes, ‘Get the f*ck out.’ And I was like, Shit. Oh God.”
Former WWE star Enzo Amore expected Dusty Rhodes to appreciate his fart performance
Enzo admitted he genuinely thought Rhodes might appreciate the comedic timing. “Man, I thought he was going to think it was my promo. I really did. I was I mean, I guess call it ignorant. But in my brain I was like, that’s a performance. Like you couldn’t Dusty, you can’t teach that. To well up a fart like that hold it for as long as I did and when you asked me what I thought of that, I just went, ‘Baron Corbin, here’s what I think of that.'”
The room reacted exactly how he expect, “People were angry. People were in shock. People were disgusted.” D-Von said one person did laugh. He said, “Kevin Owens said he busted out laughing. I could see KO laughing at that.”
Even though the story has followed him for years, Enzo said he hopes people eventually move on, “So there was like a lore about that story, man. I wish we could get past it now. I wish that I don’t have to relive it and have to tell it the way I do and make it seem like I haven’t grown up at all. But I would never fart in a promo class if I had to be in one, you know?”
