Mandy Rose might be a few years removed from her WWE career, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up on her dream match.
Dream matches are always a fun topic in the world of professional wrestling. And while many dream matches have become a reality over the last few decades, there are still many waiting to be made. While this one currently seems out of reach, we aren’t willing to rule it out completely.
Former WWE Superstars Mandy Rose and Ash by Elegance recently spoke with SquareFamilyWrestling. When asked to name their respective dream matches, the former NXT Champion answered first, naming WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
“My dream match would probably be myself versus Trish Stratus,” Mandy Rose said. “I hope I didn’t take yours.”
Luckily for Ash, she had a different match in mind. One that actually involved Rose herself.
“Actually, what first pops into my mind is that Mandy and I were supposed to have a match for the Tag Team Titles against Nattie and Tamina, and that never happened,” Ash by Elegance said. “So I would love that to happen. Are you ready for that comeback?”
While many fans had hoped to see a match between Rose and Stratus at one point, it seems much more difficult now. However, Stratus did recently compete against Tiffany Stratton, so it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility someday. Especially if you ask NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.
Jacy Jayne believes Mandy Rose will return to WWE in the future
Earlier this year, while speaking to Ten Count Media, Jacy Jayne spoke optimistically about a potential WWE return for Mandy Rose. While many have written it off, Rose’s former Toxic Attraction teammate believes Rose will return if the opportunity is right.
